Cathy Braun - Associate Broker/CDPE®
Cathy Braun has been an Ely girl from day one! She learned the meaning of hard work, dedication, and responsibility as she grew up in Ely with her parents, 5 brothers and 4 sisters. The love for Ely's small town values, scenic outdoors, and activities has kept this small, hometown girl from looking anywhere else for the perfect place to raise her 5 children. Cathy has been selling real estate in the Ely area for 15 years & is ready to assist those who can benefit from her expertise.
Cathy has earned the prestigious Certified Distressed Property Expert® (CDPE) designation. Chris Eilrich - Owner / Broker
I grew up in the Mankato area but have always called Ely home. In my youth, I would spend the summers, weekends, and any chance I had working at and managing Ely area resorts and campgrounds.
After graduating from Ridgewater College with a degree in Drafting, I moved to Ely with my wife Laurie and started working for a local survey company. I spent six years surveying, where I developed my knowledge of real estate and land development and I'm excited to share that knowledge with you.
In 2006, my childhood dream of owning a resort was fulfilled when my wife and I, along with our three children purchased Fenske Lake Cabins right off of the scenic Echo Trail. I am an active member of the Ely Community and currently serve as President of the Ely Chamber of Commerce.
I have been selling real estate in and around Ely since 2004. I understand how important and exciting buying a home or property can be and surround myself with all the necessary professionals to help you through the process. From the time you start looking at property, to the closing and even after, I will be there to make it a smooth and enjoyable experience.
You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions on any of my listings.

He originally visited Ely in the 60s canoeing, participated in sled dog racing in the 70s, and built a family cabin near Farm Lake in 1980. Gary moved to Ely permanently in 1989 and started Boundary Waters Real Estate Company in 1990.

Gil Knight- Realtor
I first visited Ely in 1965 as a 14-year-old Boy Scout on a canoe trip and knew immediately this was where I belonged! I worked for 2 summers as a canoe guide at the Charles L. Sommers High Adventure Base on Moose Lake in the late 60s. I moved here year-round in 1972 and attended Vermilion Community College earning a degree in Natural Resource Technology.
From 1973 to 1989, I was a wilderness ranger and recreation technician on the Superior National Forest. I then attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and completed a Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Journalism in 1992.
My other passion at the end-of-the-road, has been WELY Radio. In the mid 70s and early 80s, I worked there as a DJ and advertising salesperson. In 1995, Charles Kuralt retired from CBS and bought our little station. One of the proudest moments in my life was when I was asked to become his News Director!
Sadly, Charles wasn’t with us very long. In the late 90s thru 2001, I returned to the station as host of the Morning Show. To this day, I occasionally sit in on a program as a guest host.
My life experience has provided me the opportunity to serve, on a call when needed basis, as a Public Information Officer on National Incident Management Teams since 1997. I have worked on forest fires, floods, disease outbreaks, the space shuttle Columbia recovery and various hurricanes, including Katrina.
The real estate bug hit me in 1999. I decided that my love and knowledge of the area, my desire to see this country developed in a positive way, and my communication skills made for a good combination. I enjoy helping folks find their perfect piece of paradise.
Giving back to the community has always been very important to me. I currently serve on the Ely Chamber of Commerce Merchant's Board, the Dorothy Molter Museum Board and am the President of the Vermilion Community College Foundation.
I can be reached at email@example.com.

Lori Schulze - Realtor
Hi Everyone! I am excited to be a realtor with the WildWoods Land Company team.
I grew up on the Tower end of Lake Vermillion. With 4 grown children, I understand how life's needs can change in the blink of an eye. Spending my life in northern MN has made it easy to share my knowledge and experiences of this area with others. My husband Jeff and I owned and operated Timber Wolf Lodge on Bear Island Lake for 10 years and moved on to Schulze Excavating, Inc. and have been working this family business every since.
I have been in the Real Estate business since 2004 working with sellers and buyers with different types of real estate needs such as vacant land, residential, seasonal, commercial, lakeshore and remote cabins. As a full time realtor covering the Ely area it has given me a wealth of wonderful and sometimes adventurous experiences with places and people. I always enjoy helping people. I look forward to each new client and many more years of introducing people to the Ely area.

Wendy Johnson - Realtor
It took only one trip into the BWCA, at the age of fourteen, to be smitten by the pristine wilderness & its wildlife. Fortunately this area has been “my dream home” for the last 32 years! If you are ready to venture, let me simplify the “dream” process for you. With more than 9 years as an experienced, full time professional I am always knowledgeable of the area’s real estate offerings for Buyers ready to set down stakes. And when it comes time to portage on, I ensure Sellers to maximize their property’s marketing potential for a quick, efficient sale.
Having founded & operated Kasson Mfg. Inc, in Babbitt, I have 23 years of knowledge in the wood industry. In its national/international sales & marketing of billiard tables, I embedded the philosophy of “keep it simple for the customer to do business while delivering the best product” – a philosophy that I continue to carry through into my real estate career today.
If considering buying or selling, call me. I will provide you the prompt, energetic attention you deserve with quality results.
